4 years of blog: Sharing my experience with the LinkedIn diary by Inge Sáez

It has been for 4 years I started to write on this personal blog It has been for 4 years I started to write on this personal blog. I many times refer to the first post: Start being CO: collaborate, cooperate, share, copete (no compet, but collaborate, cooperate and share with other professionals as you). Just for this reason I explain my experience with other anniversary, the first using the strategic LinkedIn diary made by Inge Sáez. Inge is an expert in LinkedIn. She gives specific training and talkings. She also has her blog where she gives many advises.

I personally had the LinkedIn summary where I talked about me and what I did. I bought the strategic diary at the end of 2017, which isn’t just only a diary, it is a place where to write down:

  • Records.
  • Accions to do.
  • Monthly ideas.
  • Keywords.
  • Guide to write or rewrite the summary.
  • Messaging templates to send people who views your profile, ask you to contact, to appreciate it…

First of all I want to say that there is a lot of work ahead, we know nothing is easy and free, everything takes an effort and it is necessary perseverance and patience. My tasks have been the following:

  • I have adapted the templates to my own message.
  • I have been writing down the monthly statistics, where I see what works or no. I haven’t had enough time to be on LinkedIn because my family circumstances. I don’t say that as excuse, but I have verified that when I have worked it, I have obtained better results, it isn’t a coincidence. It has got the basis, the training to go on working next year with more knowledge and to improve.
  • It got helped so much to define keywords and rewrite my summary. However, I maintain to read all my profile you have to be a connection. I am employed and I’m not looking for a job.
  • I have received congratulations for the summary and its structure.
  • My connections have endorsed my skills.
  • I go out every week on keyword searches. As I appeared in the some recruiter searches, they ask me to connect. They read my full profile and they have even offered me a position.
  • Some of my connections have offered me a job. The fact of keeping the activity and writing on Pulse get they remembered you.

These Little changes on my profile have just been the begining, it is like plant seeds to move forward and going on working. So if you want a good guide, I encourage you to follow the  Inge‘s advices.
