You have to pursue the staff, there is usually a lazy person to put money and some workmate has to put his/her money because s/he doesn’t carry cash that day and another one s/he forgot it… At the end when it is necessary to give another present, it gets counted on the people who always pay. It can be some people who never put money ask to be present for gifts, signing the card without putting money and without thinking about doing it. All of that incurs, obviously, such discomfort because although it isn’t important that quantity of money, no one likes this behaviour.
Nowadays we can solve this situation outsourcing it. There are several online platforms which with easy steps the collection is created. It is registered indicating the type of collection: birth, farewell… The type of contribution: free or fixed and it is established a deadline. It gets written the reason for the collection and the link is sent by e-mail to the workmates. Each person who wants to do a contribution pays directly to the web with his/her card. The person who has organised the collection will be able to see how it is filling and who participated. Come the day, it will be able to choose the gift with the e-collect money in one of the e-shops associated. The recipient will receive the gift directly in the office with a message of congratulations where will be all workmates who did the contribution.
When the gift is in the office, the recipient can be advised to receive it, tell him/her there is someone asking for him/her or bringing to his/her position and then seeing his/her surprise face.
